JOTA and JOTI 1999

On October 16th and 17th our group and other groups from Sunderland District and our neighbouring districts took part in JOTA and JOTI 1999. The event is organized for us at district level at 21st St Andrews Sea Scout Headquarters and Pennywell Business Centre in Sunderland. All of the equipment and expertise which enable us to do JOTA is provided by our friends at Raynet, who are volunteers like ourselves providing emergency radio coverage for there various user services, and the computers for JOTI were provided by Pennywell Business Centre. We made many contacts across the world providing some insight for the participants in the international side of Scouting.

Here are some of the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who came along to JOTA and JOTI.
